Morning yoga on the beach

Only those who have done it know what it feels like. To do the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) on the beach and breathe the clean morning air is simply indescribable.

Starting your day with yoga is the best thing you can have as a ‘breakfast’. You wake up your body and mind in a natural way, smoothly and completely and you stay energized and balanced for the whole day.

The benefits of doing morning yoga on the beach are various, including not only strong connection with nature and deeper relaxation, but also clearer mind, higher creativity and more vitamin D.

You can sit on the sand in front of the sea in lotos and start with few deep breathings, so you relax the mind. Smell the smell of the sea, listen to the calm movement of the waves, the rising sun that is warming your face and just be there, breath. Feel the peace around you, it goes inside you with every breath in and takes away all the troubles with the breath out. Take as much time as you need and enjoy this moment to the fullest.

When you feel ready, stand up and do 6 rounds of Sun Salutation. It is beneficial for your muscles and joints, lungs and digestive system. The 12 asana sequence will increase the prana (breath or vital energy) in your body and will remove the energy blockages that you have.
